Description
Tawdry Talmudic Tales
Rabbi Moishe Steigman
Tuesdays – February 21, 28, March 7, 14
7:00 PM
The Talmud is an incredible collection of stories, laws,
debates, and discussions reflecting Jewish life in the
first half of the first millennium. Some of the tales,
though, present a surprising glimpse into the real life of the talmudic figures:
brave, vengeful, intelligent, and obscene. Come learn with Rabbi
Steigman some of the stories that you otherwise might never hear from
the Talmud, what they mean, and what they teach us. No Talmud background
is necessary, and anyone (age
appropriate) is welcome.
